Atelier i Gallery presents VERTIGO, a solo exhibition by Pavel Mizer86 and the first art exhibition in our gallery space.
The exhibition marks a new chapter for Atelier I Gallery — a space where contemporary art, visual culture, and tattooing come together.
VERTIGO introduces a new series of works by Mizer86, whose artistic practice exists at the intersection of graphic art, painting, street art, scenography, and tattooing. Inspired by ten years of living in Indonesia and traveling throughout Southeast Asia, the series explores contrasts between vulnerability and confidence, tranquility and desire.
Recurring parallel lines both construct and disrupt each image. Up close, the works dissolve into textures, lines, and fragments; from a distance, they come together again as realistic forms.
This visual tension gives the exhibition its name VERTIGO: a sense of dizziness created by illusion, chaos, beauty, and the moment when disorder suddenly becomes whole.
VERTIGO will take place November 7–8 at Atelier i Gallery.
The official opening begins at 11am on November 7, and our doors will be open to everyone throughout the exhibition. Come explore the works, and experience the first exhibition in our gallery space.
